Will You Join the Grace Force?
It is indisputable that society is undergoing a period of horrific sinfulness. Even the Catholic Church is not immune. As light shines ever more brightly on the dark underbelly of illicit activity and leanings in the world, the faithful are called to act. This sinful state necessitates supernatural warfare. For this purpose, Father Richard Heilman is initiating the 54 Day Christmas Miracle Novena. Father Heilman, puts it this way
The Church Militant is being disordered from the very highest climbs of influence, both within the Church and without. We have to fight for the Church.
The Amazon Synod did nothing to calm our fears nor to settle widespread confusion. In fact, the initial outcome adds more uncertainty. Monsignor Charles Pope sounded an alarm as did several other faithful clergy.
Reported from Rome are terrible and seemingly impious things at worst, and confusing and ambiguous things at best. In the final document of the synod are included proposals for married priests on a wide scale and women “deacons.” The Church is currently deeply divided and, I would argue, on the brink of schism, if the Pope includes such proposals in his apostolic exhortation and plan. We must pray for him as never before to hold the line, much as Pope Paul VI miraculously held the line in 1968 when he wrote Humanae Vitae, upholding the Church’s perennial view of the nature and purpose of human sexuality and the ancient forbiddance of contraception.
The United States Grace Force
This type of assault on the perennial teachings of the Church must not go unanswered. As soldiers of Christ we join together to protect the deposit of faith. Our strength comes from knowing that our loving God will not abandon us and that He has already triumphed over the forces of evil. Yet, as members of the Church Militant, it is our duty to continue our quest to win souls for Christ. We must stand strong, as earthly guards, in fervent protection of Mother Church. Standing idly by is simply not in our nature.
With this call to battle we seek to gather with others who are also on this vital mission. One way of accomplishing our goal is to proclaim the Gospel – and to proclaim it truthfully and with conviction. Another, powerful way is to band together and pray for a common intention. That is the purpose of the US Grace Force, recruited by Father Heilman. Over 60,000 strong, we have completed several 54 Day Rosaries, with various intentions. Each time, the outcome has been spiritually gratifying – it might even be said, miraculous. The supernatural grace exuding from these efforts is manifested by tangible outcomes.
54 Day Christmas Miracle Novena
It is time to battle for the Church. Beginning today, All Saints Day, we commit to praying the 54 Day Christmas Miracle Novena. In order to understand our mission, please watch the introductory video. Next, consider these next three days as the foundation of our joint effort.
- November 1 – today marks a Holy Day of Obligation – All Saints Day. As we participate in Mass, let us begin to gather the graces and spiritual strength to endure. The Eucharist is our nourishment for the journey.
- November 2 – All Souls Day, this day marks the prayerful remembrance of those who have gone before us. The Church Suffering is being purified while awaiting eternal glory.
- November 3 – Sunday is always a Holy Day of Obligation. As we attend Mass, let us again strengthen our resolve to endure as a part of the US Grace Force. The Eucharist provides our supernatural nourishment.
Armed with the grace of the first three days of November, we commit to pray a daily Rosary. This will continue until Christmas Eve. The official intention of the 54 Day Christmas Miracle Novena is as follows:
May the Holy Spirit guide the Holy Father as he writes the post-synodal apostolic exhortation.
Battle Plan for the 54 Day Christmas Miracle Novena
As concern builds over the Holy Father’s Exhortation there is a call for fervent prayer from the faithful. We must not simply wring our hands or stand idly by.

The first three days of November begin our holy battle. For the remaining 51 days (54 Total), continue to pray a daily Rosary. Our joint intention is “May the Holy Spirit guide the Holy Father as he writes the post-synodal apostolic exhortation.”
- Sign up for a brief (1 or 2 minute) daily reflection.
- Pray a daily Rosary for the intention of guiding the Holy Father in writing the post-synodal apostolic exhortation.
- Add fasting, as God calls you, to your effort.
Recruitment for the 54 Day Christmas Miracle Novena
An army does not only need a winning strategy. It also need recruits. Adding to our number is vital to the accomplishment of our mission. Therefore, please consider asking at least five others to join the US Grace Force. Share the goal and information with them so that they, too, may recruit others. Do not worry about any obvious signs of accomplishment. Instead remember that we can do all things in Christ who strengthens us. When we join in a battle for the good of the Church and the glory of God, we are assured that He is working right along our side.
